Bed is great!
The bed is well made and looks great in my room. I did not realize with a platform bed you have to be careful of thickness of mattress! I am unable to get into the bed. I have a bad back and opted to keep the mattress so had to buy steps to get into bed! Definitely not what I would have chosen if I had known.

can a queen size mattress fit on the full size frame?
No a queen mattress will not fit on the full beg, unless you don’t mind the mattress hanging over both sides.

No, the full size frame fits a full mattress. You would need the queen size frame to fit a queen size mattress.
You can also check the measurements of the mattress’s VS frames to double check
What is the height of the bed where the mattress goes? (not the headboard/footboard) looking at this bed for my toddler but concerned about height for her getting in/out.
It is 18 1/2 inches from the floor to the bottom of the mattress. Depending on the height of the mattress you are using with the bed, will determine the height to the top of the mattress.
